Anthony Hopkins sells out The Eternal NFT collection in minutes

The collection features 1000 original cinematic art pieces inspired by the actor’s award-winning career.

In under 10 minutes, Oscar award-winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins sold out his debut NFT collection, “The Eternal Collection.”

The art pieces were inspired by different performances in the actor’s long career and were created in partnership with Orange Comet Inc, an NFT and Web3-focused design firm. 1000 pieces are included in the collection.

According to the collection’s description on OpenSea, “it conceptualizes an interpretation of the captivating body of work performed by Sir Anthony Hopkins throughout his illustrious film career, drawing its colossal energy from his remarkable body of work.”

There are creative visuals and animations named “The Jester,” “The Lover,” “The Ruler,” “The Rebel,” “The Giver,” and “The Eternal” that represent the various archetypal characters played by the Hollywood actor throughout his career.

Actor Patrick Stewart expressed his amazement at the news of the sold-out collection in a tweet to the NFT community.

990 one-of-one NFT images include unique pictures of Anthony Hopkins that come with randomly generated functions, from receiving hand-signed dreamscapes art books with his paintings and drawings to private conversations with the actor via zoom. In addition to that, there are personalised NFTs with a message from Hopkins that are randomly dropped into their wallets.
