Doodles’ NFT raises $54M in funding at $704M valuation

The firm said that it will use the money from the raise to further improve its intellectual property.

Seven Seven Six has invested in Doodles with Acrew Capital, FTX Ventures and 10T Holdings. This funding will allow Doodles to implement a growth strategy and monetize its intellectual property globally through ventures in music, culture and entertainment.

Doodles is 10,000 different blockchain-based NFTs created by Burnt Toast and Web3 pioneers Evan Keast and Jordan Castro. It has a colorful world full of playful cartoon-like illustrations that capture whimsical animal characters like aliens, cats, apes, and mascots. Dapper Labs founded the company in 2021.

Doodles invited its NFT holders to an exclusive event at the South by Southwest festival in Texas. Users could visit themed venues and purchase drinks, paint their nails with Doodles designs, or order refreshments.
